The Community Technology Center serves as a tool to build relationships among people and foster an atmosphere of learning—a cornerstone for all ages within the community.

In addition to internet and email access, the Community Technology Center—as a community service project—provides Computer Training sessions, Typing/Keyboarding, Online Basic Education GED and Job Readiness Training as well as Rosetta Stone English and Spanish Language Learning Modules.

• Serves as resource for individuals needing ready access to the internet
• Allows participants to learn at their own pace
• Provides assistance with resume writing and job readiness skills
• The Computer Learning Center is a safe environment with staff supervision.
• Online software is provided to improve English and Reading Skills.
• Life Skills Training increase financial management and social skills.
• In the Community Technology Center, the novice and the expert build new relationships and learn from each other.

Multimedia Technology, including games, allows persons unfamiliar with computers to increase their comfort level by engaging in non-threatening activities
 

• Computer based financial training in basic banking in English and Spanish for elementary, High School and Adults.

• Computer Tutorials for Academic Success…self-paced education program to improve academic skills in Math, Science, Language Arts, etc.

• Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Training in Office Applications

• Educational Computer Games to improve academic skills.
