ONEPowerfulMovement CDC is a faithbased organization created to empower and improve the lives of middle to low-income individuals and their families through educational training, economic revitalizations and entrepreneurial opportunities.

The primary goal of OnePowerfulMovement CDC is to meet needs and bear burdens. The OneSource New Life Center establishes and manages the Community Technology Center, our computer learning and resource program which provides community access to internet, email, computer training classes and computer repair and recycling services.

The Community Technology Center also provides training in GED/ESL and Adult Basic Education through online tutorial classes and classroom instruction. Students enrolled in services at the Community Technology Center are able to complete a Workplace Essential Skills curriculum, conduct Job Search and engage in Job Retention Strategies.

OnePowerfulMovement Community Development Center was formed by Bible Way Fellowship Baptist Church as a faith-based nonprofit service organization for the purpose of impacting this community, neighboring communities, the city and beyond with a biblical world view through educational and economic revitalization.

It is the aim of OPM-CDC to provide educational and childcare facilities; financial educations and institutions; housing and urban development; and entrepreneurship opportunities for middle to low-income families (including the at-risk) in South Houston, neighboring communities and beyond.

Funding Opportunities

As a community service, OPM-CDC will post notification of nonprofit funding opportunties on this site so that we can work together to improve the quality of life for folks in need of service throughout Houston, Harris County and Texas.
